This role is a mix of front desk, behind-the-scenes support, and involvement in our online presence. You’ll be welcoming clients, assisting with bookings and communication, and supporting our stylists by helping maintain a clean, organized space from laundry and towel upkeep to keeping stations and the shampoo bar tidy.

Our salon runs as a team, and tasks shift throughout the day. You won’t be expected to do everything at once. This role is all about supporting the flow of the salon.

You’ll also assist with our Social Media Presence + Brand Support by capturing behind-the-scenes moments and helping keep our online presence consistent and aligned with our brand, with opportunities to take on more over time.

We’re looking for someone who’s proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to jump in and help wherever needed. You’ll have a supportive team around you, but being self-motivated is key.

This role plays a big part in both the client experience and how our brand shows up day to day. If you’re passionate about beauty and enjoy a balance of teamwork and independence, we’d love to meet you.

DUTIES:

Reception + Client Experience

• Cover the front desk when needed

• Greet + check in clients

• Set up / take down the coffee bar (open + close)

• Manage bookings + client communication (phone + email)

• Assist walk-in retail clients + support retail sales

• Complete appointment confirmation calls (closing shifts)

• Help with product inventory + retail orders

Social Media Presence + Brand Support

• Capture occasional behind-the-scenes moments, client transformations, and day-to-day salon life

• Assist with filming content for social media when needed (IG Reels style)

• Support with light posting, content organization, and general upkeep

• Stay aware of trends in the beauty space and bring ideas when inspired

Salon Support + Cleanliness

• Keep laundry + towels stocked

• Maintain clean, organized changerooms

• Rinse + wipe down sinks + shampoo bowls

• Keep colour bar + backbar organized

• Reset stylist stations (sweeping, mirrors, sanitizing)

• Take out garbage + recycling at end of day

• Stay on top of the little things (watering plants, tidying the coffee bar, restocking supplies, etc.)
